5 YEARS - TIME FLIES!! Hard to believe I have been creating and selling my calendars for 5 years! It has been an adventurous, creative and inspiring few years; and in more exciting news, my calendars are available for purchase at two stores on island; Brown n Co (Bookmark) and Robertson’s Drug Store! Bermuda Calendar 2020

My Bermuda calendars are back again! After a successful year selling the the 2019 calendars to friends and family, I decided to up-the-ante this year. The 2020 calendars now feature new pictures, new color schemes and new channels of distribution! Yes new channels of distribution! This year my calendars are stocked at Brown & Co (Bookmart), a popular local department store, and now they can be purchased with their own waterproof shipping folder. To date my calendars have made it to Italy, Canada and the US just to name a few! And the most exciting part - I’ve sold over 100 this year! Needless to say, its time to take pictures for next year’s calendar! Look out for the Bermuda 2021 Calendar!

With Harbour Nights in full effect, the traditional Bermuda Gombey’s made an exciting appearance with swarms of people gathered around to watch the cultural dance. Some how I managed to squeeze my way to the front of the crowd to snap some pictures. [Troupe: H&H Gombey’s]

Youth Cycle Race Series 2019

The first annual Youth Cycle Race Series kicked off on March 31st, challenging students to compete in a monthly 3-stage cycle race. Plus, students had the opportunity to earn points for their school! As a former youth cyclist, I was eager and excited to design and market this race - and the icing on the cake was seeing my design on a medal!

Switzerland and Greece

Oh, the natural beauty! After spending several days in Geneva, I was still looking to for that classic ‘Switzerland’ view and turns out it was only two hours away in Gruyeres. Heard of it? They make the BEST cheese! Spending a day in the picturesque countryside was an experience in itself; rolling green hills, cows, and oodles of cheese. After five days in Switzerland, next up was Greece – a photographers dream! The ancient ruins of Athens, mixed with the island vibes of Mykonos, Santorini and Ios was just icing on the cake. Definitely a trip I won’t forget! Have a look at some of the photos below.

TEDxSouthamptonUniversity

Ideas worth sharing! I had the opportunity to co-organize a TEDx Talk at the University of Southampton this past February. The theme was Breaking Barriers and each talk addressed this theme through a number of thought-provoking discussions on what it means to break a barrier, as well as provided insight into the confines of the human mind.
